Job description:

We are looking for a passionate Art Director with a strong affinity for manga and Japanese pop culture to lead the visual direction of our projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the artistic coherence of all our product lines, in close collaboration with our sculpture, design, prototyping, marketing, and production teams.

 

Key responsibilities:

·       • Define and carry the global artistic vision of Tsume projects

·       • Supervise visual concepts from initial sketch to final productl

·       • Lead and inspire a team of creatives (illustrators, sculptors, graphic designers, etc.)

·       • Ensure quality and visual consistency in alignment with the DNA of our manga licenses

·       • Continuously monitor artistic and cultural trends, especially in the manga universe

 

Profile sought:

·       • Significant experience (5+ years) in an Art Director role, ideally in entertainment, video games, animation, or collectibles

·       • Deep knowledge of manga culture, Japanese licenses, and their visual codes

·       • Full proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written

·       • Strong skills in design and illustration, with a solid understanding of 3D production constraints (knowledge of 3D software such as ZBrush is a plus)

·       • Proven leadership, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
